Today on this 2009 Pontiac Torrent we are going to install part number 13591 from Curt. First I will go ahead and show you where the hitch mounts up onto the vehicle. It will mount up on the frame, on the outside edges, and also on the bumper to existing threaded fittings in the vehicle.
With this vehicle since it has all the threaded fittings we can pretty much go ahead and start installing the hitch. Take a few minutes to inspect the threads to make sure that they are clean and you can run the bolts in and out really easy before you attempt to install the hitch. Since this is a new vehicle we are in pretty good shape. All right now that we have our bolts started go ahead and snug down the bolts. Okay now that we have all our bolts snugged down we can go ahead and torque them down as specified in the instructions. Once you have all your bolts all torqued down that finishes our install of part number 13591 from Curt.
