Today we are going to install part number 87183 from Hidden Hitch, and we are going to install this hitch on a 2003 Ford F-150 pickup truck. We will show you where the hitch mounts up on the vehicle. We are looking at the drivers side rail here: one, two, three on this side, and the same thing on the passengers side. Nice and easy all you have to do is the hardware in from the top on all holes and then we just lift our hitch into position.
At this point we can go ahead and start hanging the hitch on the bolts. Let us go ahead and lift into position, and we will use a nut and conical-tooth washer to attach it. And we will just hang it by the two bolts and then we will install the rest of our hardware. At this point we can go ahead and snug down our bolts, and then we will go ahead and torque down the bolts as specified in the instructions.
