Today we are going to install part number 13657 from Curt on a Jeep Wrangler, 1996 model. So where the hitch mounts is on these four bolts here that hold the bumper right on. The hitch gets mounted in this place here and the bumper just gets left off. All right, we will go ahead and do the same thing for the other side of the vehicle. Now, sometimes they get clogged up with dirt, so it is a good idea to spray it down with some cleaner and get out all the loose junk that accumulates in there.
Next we can go ahead and install our hitch. We will install some bolts in the bottom of the frame. At this point, it is a good idea to have an extra set of hands. At this point, we can go ahead and start snugging down our bolts, since we have got everything started now. And, since we are here, we will go ahead and snug these bolts down. All right, once you have got everything snugged down, now you can go ahead and give everything their final torque, as specified in the instructions.
