Today we are going to show you part number 8291DPS. What we have here is the Tuff Links 3 Foot Long Chain with Integrated Key Lock from Master Lock. As you can see it is basically a chain lock that is covered in a cloth material. It is great for anything you want to tie up but has a nice finish you do not want to scratch it up, such as a nice piece of equipment like a motorcycle, ATV or virtually anything you want to take care of, it does not have to be anything special. As long as you have a place to tie it off to and do not want to scratch it up, this may be the perfect lock for you. Inside the sleeve there is a sturdy hardened steel chain that resists cutting. The sleeve itself is black nylon. It also has a special type of key called a disc key. This is a new design from Master Lock. What it does is keep the lock from being picked at. Also the key cover itself has a nice slide away plastic so if you leave it outside in the elements for awhile, dust and grime and water will not get in there. Now I will go ahead and show you how it works. It is a pretty simple device. You just take it, push the cover back, insert the key, give it a twist, and it comes right apart. In this demonstration here we are actually going to chain this bicycle to the fence post. What is really nice is how this does not catch on the spokes.
