Review of the Master Lock EZ Mount 2 x 1 Inch Hitch Ball Lock

What this provides is a last bit of security you can add to your truck and trailer. We will install one on a ball mount and show you how it works. A good trick is to keep your lock washer in this little groove right here, it goes around your ball mount, your ball goes through the assembly, and then the trick is to thread the ball into the nut. When you do that, it brings the nut inside the guard here. It provides the ability for one to hold the nut while you tighten it down, and you cannot take the nut back off when it is on. Also what is nice about this is that on top you can see there is a nut built into the top of the ball. It uses a three quarter inch wrench so you can use that to tighten this ball down to your ball mount and you are set to go. You may ask, can someone just unscrew the top to steal the trailer? but you forget you will have a coupler on top of it with a lock so it does provide extra security.
