Reviw of the Bully Truck Bed Step

We are going to install this and the first step is to install the long bolt and its plate and put this into the beds cross member. Next we need to install this top slider bar, this will go in here like so, and this jack bolt has to go up flat against this body panel here just to give it some extra stability. This part is going to get sandwiched by the triangular bracket as such like this. With that we can take the nut and bolt and put it on right here. We are going to leave all this loose now because I have the bottom part, the actual step, to installed next. This will actually slide up into this side of the triangle bracket and a bolt will go through it to tighten it down. Just a quick test fit just to hold it up there to mock it up you can tell that this is right underneath the fender panel here and it should be a good deal. So we actually pushed it all the way up and it looks pretty good so we are going to leave it like it is.

It is a little tricky here, so we are going to have to leave ourselves some room to put our nut and washer on there. Now we can go ahead and just tighten this down, finger tight first. Then we will take our wrench to it. We have it positioned the way we want it so we will go ahead and torque it up. Now we will tighten up our jack bolt here. To operate this step all we have to do is pull on this latch a little bit and move it to the side. It locks back into place and it is out of the way.
