Today we are going to show you part number S64005 from Swagman. This is their DLX Bicycle Adapter. What the DLX adapter will do for you is level out your bike on your bicycle rack. So if you have an alternative frame or a ladies bike, it keeps them from sitting at extreme angles on your bicycle rack.
We will go ahead and show you how to install this on our bicycle here. We have an alternative frame bicycle, and it is pretty easy to install. We will start with the front half underneath the handlebars here. Just open it up, pushing this button here. And then slide it around and snap it back into place. And do the same thing with the back half. Push the button to open it up and it will go underneath the seat. And let it spring back to its natural position. And you can see there is plenty of movement. And then you can go ahead and simply carry the bike that way. As you can see the bicycle carrier will do the same thing.
All right, we will go ahead and install it on a typical bicycle rack here. With the adapter bar installed, you can see that the bike sits a lot more level than it would before.And there you have it for part number S64005 from Swagman, the DLX Adapter Bar.

What is the min. measurement from the inside of one end to the inside of the other end? What is the max. mesurement in inches when extending the bar to the largest size? I have very small bikes and one large bike. What is the warrant? Also do you have alarms for bikes? thank you.

The minimum inside is about 16-1/2 inches. Maximum inside is about 30-1/2 inches. We do not have any information from Swagman regarding a warranty and we do not carry an anti-theft alarms for bicycles.
