Pilot Emergency Warning Triangle Kit Review

Review of a Pilot Emergency Warning Triangle Kit

Today we are going to show you part number MS-911 from Pilot. What this is, it is an emergency warning triangle kit. It is all you need to keep safe in the event of a roadside emergency. This emergency kit has a compact design, which includes a highly reflective tripod ultra-long-life, red LEDs in the baton as well as super-bright LEDs located on top of the unit to provide as a floodlight. We will go ahead and assemble it and show you how it works.

The kit comes in three main pieces. Basically, this is the baton itself that unfolds into the tripod a battery box to keep the extra batteries in, because this unit does have batteries in the handle here and also on this top unit here. And also, there is another extra reflector here that acts as a stabilizing bar to keep the tripod in its open position. Everything is contained in this cinched bag also.

We are going to assemble this into a regular tripod here. This handle comes apart from here you just twist it and it comes apart. Then we take the other side off. This is a cap, and again it just twists off to the side. And it simply pops off. And then you just simply take this apart, flip it over and you have the base of your triangle. And then this reflector snaps onto any of the legs, and it just snaps into place. Next, you take the small cap, flip it over, and then there is an actual button inside for the LEDs in there. And then simply press that on top of the triangle.

And also for extra visibility, take the cap off and the baton will actually go into the middle and give you a clear light on top. And that is the top light there: two LEDs on top providing the white light. And then the baton itself actually will strobe. And you can have both of them on at the same time. The top cap here uses two AAA batteries, and then the handle itself uses four AA batteries. And that covers the review of part number MS-911 from Pilot.
