Today we are going to show you part number 3794DAT from Master Lock. This is a Keyed Alike Trailer Lock Set. It comes in a complete kit with three different locks. It also comes in a nice bag. First off, you have the coupler lock itself, you have got the lock for the coupler latch itself, and then finally you have the lock for the ball mount that goes on your towing vehicle. And as shown, it does come with a nice carrying case comes with this part number and you also get three keys with it. And the lock set for the ball mount can also be used for an inch and a quarter hitch too. The sleeve allows you to do it in a two inch receiver and without the sleeve, you use it in an inch and a quarter receiver. And now that we have got the basic pieces here we will actually show an actual practice on a coupler and on a typical receiver hitch.
We are going to install our coupler lock on a simple coupler here. Using a two inch ball. The ball part goes into the coupler itself. You can latch it down into place like a ball and the whole body slides back into place. Slide it on as far as possible. Take the key. Latch it. And it is locked. That part of the coupler is secure. Next we will install the lock for the latch itself. And you can see the pin here will fit a variety of different locks. From this wide to a little over a half inch here. That is why they have all of the little indents here on the pin. And you just push it all the way in as needed. Take your key, lock it, pull it out, and you are good to go. All right, and the third part is the ball mount lock. And that will simply, this part will actually slide into this hitch pin hole. Start from the other side.
