Today we are going to cover part number 1469DAT from Master Lock. This is their stainless steel trailer hitch lock for 2-1/2 inch receivers and 2-inch receivers. This lock features stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance. This lock also features a swivel-head design for easy access to the lock. We will show you how it works.
All you have to do is take off the cover here. Insert the key, give it a quarter turn, and it comes apart. We will go ahead and install this on a typical 2-inch hitch application and show you how it looks. All right, we will go ahead and install it on a typical 2-inch receiver hitch application here. Slide the pin in on one side and then install the lock on the other. And as you can see here, this hitch actually has an electrical connector rather close to the hitch pin, so this design lends itself pretty easily to that type of situation.
