Today we are going to show you part number 63232, the anti-rattle hitch pin and lock for 2 inch receiver hitches. Alright, this lock pin assemble and anti-rattle device is designed for only use with 2 inch receiver hitches and also will go with ball mounts that are hollow. This will not work with solid ball mount shanks,only works with hollow ball mount. What we need to do is take our lock apart. This is the way it comes shipped to you. Take your key, turn it, it comes right apart. Take your spring and lock apart, it just unthreads. That comes apart like so. This tube also has to come out. You will not need that for now. And when you are in luck you should have this block and this spring. What happens is, this block and spring is inserted on the inside of this hitch here. So what happens when you thread the bolt through, it pulls it to one side so it will not go anywhere.
So lets go ahead and just pop it in there. And that is all the preparation it takes for the ball mount. Now, we will go ahead and install our ball mount in our 2 inch receiver hitch and show you how it locks up. Once you have it in place, go ahead and just run your bolt through with the thread side matching the threads in the nut. And it just simply screws together. And this tube right here, if you remember, gets slide in on the other side. It takes up the room on the pin. Just simply push this in like so.
