Today we are going to show you part number 10501 from Cipa. This is Cipas Custom Towing Mirror. These mirrors are custom made for each individual vehicle. In this instance, we actually use a Dodge Durango for our test fit. This mirror extension sits up on the factory mirror. It slides onto the factory mirror just about right here. And what keeps it in place is this wedge, which gets installed between the factory mirror and the extension mirror, right here. Now I will clamp this into place. And what actually tightens everything down is this knob, which goes on the back side of the mirror. It gets screwed in there and applies pressure to the back of the wedge, which in turn clamps the mirror to the factory mirror.
The first step that is involved is installing the wedge. And it has a little plastic notch that is slides on to. And once you have the wedge in place, you just simply slide it over your mirror. And it will have a snug fit. Once you have it in place, go ahead and install the knob that goes in the back here and that does all the clamping.
