Today we are going to install part number 118316 from Tow Ready, and this is a T-1 connector we are going to install on a 1994 Ford pickup. This is the point in the harness that we need to split apart and attach our T connector. It is right behind the bumper on the drivers side. There is a little button you push down. It is kind of hard to see on the end. You push it down and it comes apart. And you just reinstall the T connector in the middle of it and then make sure you clip it back together. And it might be a good idea to go ahead and use a zip tie to tie it off somewhere, and that is pretty much all there is to it. Just route your 4-pole wire where you want it along the frame and out by the hitch. Just zip tie it to secure it to the frame and keep it from bouncing around. Then we can route our wire out to the hitch. We will just put it by the chain loop here.
And when you are done with the hitch, make sure you tighten up the spare tire bracket if you had to loosen it to give you some room. All right, and there you have it for our install of part number 118316 from Tow Ready on our 1994 Ford F-150 pickup.

Today, our 2002 Ford F150 SuperCrew Cab, we're going to install part number 118242. This is a Ford replacement OEM tow-package wiring harness. Now, what this will do, it will upgrade your preexisting 4-pole harness on tow package up to a 7-pole. Now, our new upgrade harness will actually work with a factory 4-pole wire harness. In this case we don't have our 4-pole anymore, so that's why we're upgrade. Our connection point is right here on the frame rail on the driver's side.
