There are two methods for installing the safety poll on a Yakima Rack and Roll trailer. The first is to use the track on the left hand or right hand side of the trailer frame. Take the bolt with the square head and it into the track. Then, slide it into position where you want the safety poll. Take the safety poll and set the mounting loop over the bolt. Use the included washer and nylon lock nut to secure the poll to the trailer. The second method for installation is using the cross bar of the trailer. Yakima includes a cross bar clip and a second set of hardware for installing the safety poll on the cross bar. Slip the clip over the cross bar.
