All right today we are going to install part number 24801 from Draw-Tite and we are going to install this hitch on a 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe 3.5 SE. All right first off we will show you where the hitch gets installed on the vehicle. And the next thing, to get the hardware in the frame we are going to enlarge this hole right here. And to do that we are going to use a hole saw. It is going to be the same thing on the passenger side that we are looking at here. And this hole we are going to enlarge with the hole saw. First we will start off, we will just go ahead and make our access holes. It is going to be the same thing on the passenger side. All right we will go ahead and fish wire our hardware and we will use our fish wire tool. We will just push it through down to the hole we made and pull it out the other side.
We will slide a block into place. Just pop it in there. We will take our bolt, thread that on. And then pull the assembly all the way through again. This time we are going to use this hole, back through. All right and now we will go over to the driver side and repeat the same process. We can next hold the hitch into position. What we are going to do is slide it over the exhaust tips very carefully and slide it in and just thread the bolts into the hitch and then install the nuts and washers. Now we will repeat for you on the passenger side. Okay, once we have got our bolts started we can go ahead and snug them down. Okay. Okay, once you have got the bolts all snugged down we can go ahead and torque the bolts down to their final torque ratings as specified in the instructions. With the bolts torqued down, that finishes our install part number 24801 from Draw-Tite on our 2008 Altima Coupe 3.5 SE.
