Today we are going to install part number 87479 from Hidden Hitch, and we are going to install this on a 2005 Honda Odyssey. First we will show you where the hitch installs at. It is going to install in the existing weld nuts here, here, and back here. And also you can tell, it is kind of wet there, basically what we did was we cleaned out the bolt holes first, before we are even starting to install the hitch. Take a few minutes and go ahead and clean out those bolt threads. Basically, just spray them down with some WD-40, then use the bolt to start threading in and out just a little bit at a time.
All right, first what we are going to do is go ahead and get the muffler out of our way. We will spray this down with some WD-40 and then we will just go ahead and pry this off the pin here. All right, next what we will do is go ahead and lift the hitch into position. We can actually take one arm of the hitch and lay it on the exhaust to help hold it up while you start some bolts on the drivers side. OK, we have got two bolts holding the hitch in place. Now we can go ahead and move the hitch around as we need it to help get the rest of the bolts in place. We are just going to go ahead and snug down the bolts for now. Now we can go ahead and torque down the bolts as specified in the instructions. All right, the next step involved is go ahead and slip the rubber hanger back onto the exhaust. All right, and with that, that finishes our install of part number 87479 from Hidden Hitch.
