Today on this 2000 Ford F-350 Super Duty we are going to install part number V82500 from Valley. I will go ahead and show you where the hitch mounts up on the frame of the vehicle. It is going to use these existing holes in the frame itself so you will not do any drilling what so ever. We will go ahead and install our hardware. We are going to use this block and this bolt and we are just going to it in the frame. 00:20
At this point we can go ahead and start lifting the hitch into position. All right when we install our hardware the bolts with the slots here are going to get a flat washer and a lock washer. The regular ones have a round hole and no slot so it will get just the lock washer and nut. We will go ahead and do the same process over on the driver side. With all of our bolts started now we can go ahead and snug down the bolts. All right at this point we can go ahead and torque down the bolts as specified in the instructions. With our bolts torqued down that will finish our install. There you have it for part number V82500.

Note for this application is recommended to lower and remove the spare tire for the ease installation of installing the hitch, however; unfortunately we cannot lower the spare tire as we installed this hitch.First well go ahead and identify our attachment points, there are a total of eight attachment points, four on each frame rail, these are predrilled holes in the frame rail by the manufacture.
