Installation of a Trailer Hitch on a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe

Today we are going to be installing Valley hitch part number V82753 on a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe. Okay we are underneath the vehicle and we are taking a look at the passenger-side frame rail. As you can see here at the end we have two existing weld nuts that do not have any bolts or anything in them. Those will be our attaching points for our trailer hitch. It is going to be the same on the drivers side as well.

Attaching the hitch to the frame of the vehicle we are going to be using the 10mm bolts and the conical tooth washers that are both provided with the installation kit. Okay we can go ahead and put the hitch up into position now. Okay and with the hitch up in place we can go ahead and tighten the bolts down. And now we will come back through and torque the bolts down to their specified torque rating as listed in the instructions. This will conclude the installation of hitch part number V82753 on a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe.
