Today we're going to review part number S64023. This is the Swagman Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock with barrel keys for a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver. This 2 inch Swagman receiver lock is triple chrome-plated for maximum rust-resistance. It will help keep your hitch accessory safe from theft for years to come. This is a 5/8 inch diameter locking hitch pin which will secure a hitch accessory to your receiver tube and help protect it from theft. It has the barrel keys, which are the tubular high security keys which allow easy access with only a quarter turn to unlock.
The lock is also triple chrome-plated for maximum rust protection. This will help protect ball mounts, bike racks and cargo carriers from theft. Again, this will fit a 2 inch by 2 inch trailer hitch receiver. This is a 5/8 inch pin diameter. This does rotate on the end and this rotates this way.
It does have an inside width of 3 and 3/16. It has an overall length of 6 inches. The 2 keys are included and I do have an example of a 2 inch hitch receiver tube right here and I'll show you how it inserts. Basically there's the lock, so if you just put that in there all you have to do is turn it a quarter of a turn and it'll pop right out. So then you just insert this through and, actually, you don't even need the key in there.
If you take the key out it'll automatically go back and all you have to do is push it on and it'll lock automatically. Now there is another added feature. Instead of having the lock be shown and let the elements get to it you can actually turn it and this cover will cover the lock. So with it like that the elements do not get to the lock core. So basically if you just turn this, put the key in, quarter of a turn, comes right out.
Put it on, cover the lock. And that should do it for a review on part number S64023.
