Today, were gonna review part number 86066. This is the Reese Dodge Ram LED Brake and Tail Light trailer Hitch Cover to fit 1-1/4 and 2-inch hitch receivers. This is an officially licensed 3D Dodge Ram logo, which will add a stylish touch to your vehicle. It uses red LED lights, which will light up to give your vehicles some flash and make it more visible as well as to alert other drivers to slow down or stop when you do. When plugged in, it has a low illumination, which will be used when youre using your tail lights and then it goes to a higher or brighter illumination when you apply your breaks or engage the hazard lights. It does use energy efficient LEDs, which are long lasting.

It is made of a corrosion-resistant plastic with a metallic coating that becomes transparent when the lights are activated. Now, this part will come with the 1-1/4-inch adapter that would bolt on and a gasket to be used with that. I got a 2-inch hitch receiver here. Slide it in until the hole would line up. Now, it does use a pin and clip or a hitch lock, which is sold separately. You just slide it in, line it up, put your pin through, and then you can plug it in. I have a power supply here, a 4-way, that Im going to plug in to give you an idea of the brightness on this hitch cover.
Okay, with that plugged in, that would be with the tail lights on, and then when you apply the brakes or the hazard lights, it would light up even more. Now, I want to give you an idea of what it would be with the overhead lights off, to give you an idea at nighttime.
