Today, were going to review part number PS1400600303. This is the Pro Series Round, A-Frame Topwind Jack. This jack has a lift capacity of 5,000 pounds. It is a standard A-frame jack, will work good as a utility jack, and is perfect for agricultural and commercial applications. It is made with precision-fit parts which would provide exceptional stability and reliability. The mounting bracket, which is the triangular piece right here with the three holes in it, is what is used to mount it to any standard A-frame trailer.
It can be welded on and it does have three elongated holes so it can be bolted on. It will wind up to the holes on a standard A-frame trailer because they do use an industry standard of 3 inches, the distance between the center of the holes. The outer tube and the inner tubes have a black paint finish. This is a topwind jack so the handle is at the top and it winds that way. It has smooth ergonomic design for easy cranking.
This jack does not come with a base. A footplate or a caster assembly is sold separately. I do want to give you a few dimensions on this. The clearance on this jack which would be from the mounting plate to the top of the jack is 14-1/2 inches. This jack is in the fully retracted position, so the retracted height which would be from the end to the mounting bracket is 10-13/16.
Now, the fully extended position, Im going to show you, I have another jack here to save some time and it is already in the fully extended position. That measurement from here to here will be 25-13/16. What that means is that if you would subtract the retracted measurement from the extended measurement, that will give you 15 inches of lift. Now, the outer tube diameter is 2-1/4 inches. The inner tube diameter is 2 inches.
This jack does have a 5,000-pound lift capacity. It does come with a limited one-year warranty. I also just wanted to show you the bases that are sold separately to give you an idea of what you could use on this. You can use the footplate, which will be part number PS1400700340, and basically you would install that by -- there are the holes right here at the bottom of the inner tube and you would take the pin and clip out, align the footplate with hole in the jack, put your pin through, and then push the pin on to lock it in place. That would give you the jack with the footplate. The footplate is sold separately. The other part would be the caster assembly, which would be this part here. This is the wheel caster assembly. It is part number PS1400750340. In the same way, you take that out, line up the holes, put the pin through, pin on, and now you would have a jack with the caster assembly on the bottom. That should do it for a review on part number PS1400600303.
