Today were going to take a look at the Pro Series round snap ring swivel jack part #: PS1400300303. Now Pro Series covers this jack with a limited one year warranty. It has a lift capacity of 2,000lbs. Its a bolt-on design for trailer tongues and frames up to 3 inches by 4 inches. Included with the jack is the mounting hardware that youll need to secure it to the frame. The jack is used with 2 inch tubing and it has a black finish on the outer tube.
The inner tube as well as the footplate thats welded to it are finished in a zinc plating to protect against corrosion. Now were going to go over a few measurements. From the center of the mounting bracket to the top of the jack weve got about 4 inches. Were also going to go over the bracket height of the jack, thats from the center of the bracket down to the bottom of the footplate. When the jack is fully retracted like we have here it measures in at 11 inches.
Now we have another jack, same model thats fully extended. Again, when we measure from the center of the bracket down to the bottom of the jack we get 21 inches. The difference between the two, 10 inches, is our jacks lift or travel. Once you have the jack bolted to your trailer frame youll be able to swivel it up and out of the way when youre pulling your trailer down the road. Youll pull this release pin and flip the jack up, that way you dont run the risk of damaging the jack against the ground.
