Today, were going to review part number SLL43AB1. This is the Optronics sealed, 4-inch round, dual-flash LED warning light. This is a amber, 4-inch round strobing dual-flash warning light and this light is a function one which is stamped on the back, 001, and basically, what that would mean is its wired that if you use it with another function one light that the flash would be synchronized or at the same time and if you used it with a function two light, when theyre wired together, it would give a alternating flash where one would flash and then the other would flash and they keep going back and forth. This warning light is a great replacement for incandescent lights because there are no bulbs to replace or no brittle filaments to break. It has a sealed housing and lens. It does use a grommet mount.
The grommet is sold separately. It does contain 22 amber LEDs. The LED light-throw maximum is 0.448 amps at 12.8 volts. This light will work with 12-volt or 24-volt systems. It is DOT approved and does have a lifetime warranty on the LEDs.
I just want to give you a few dimensions on this. The overall diameter of this light would be 4-5/16 and the depth or height of this would be 1-15/16. Now, this does three-prong plug for the wiring in the back. I have one here; this is sold separately. It is part number A45PB.
Its a three-wire pigtail. Basically, what you would do is push it in and youll have your wiring. What Im going to do is show you -- Im going to wire it up. I got a power supply here. The white would be the ground, and that would be the dual-flash mode.
Now, heres another function one light. What Im going to try to do here is show you that if you wire them with two function one lights what youll get. Well do the ground, and well take the black wires and wire them together, and then on the red wires. As you can see, there is synchronization or flash at the same time. Now, if we wire it with a function two light, which is stamped on the back, Ill show you the alternating. Thats how it would flash with the function one and a function two light. That should do it for part number SLL43AB1.
