Today we're going to review part number 2854dat. This is the Master Lock Easy Access Swivel Head Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2 inch trailer hitches. This standard 2 inch hitch lock with a rotating head makes it very easy to insert the key into the lock. It's also great for OEM hitches where the hitch pin holes are real close to the hitch cross tube. This lock will secure items into the trailer hitch receiver. The swivel head design will provide easy access to the lock with the key.
This is a chrome plated steel for great looks and corrosion resistance. It has a weather tough seal which you can see right here which will help keep the elements out of the lock core. Two keys are included. This does fit 2 inch by 2 inch trailer hitches, does have an inside width here of 2 7/8. It has an overall width of 6 inches.
The pin diameter is 5/8 of an inch. It has a limited lifetime warranty and I'm going to give you an example. I have a 2 inch hitch receiver opening right there and I'll show you how this installs. Put your key in, turn it, it'll release the lock and then all you need to do is slide this through your hitch pin hole, install that onto the lock, put it in all the way, locks right on. Then you put your seal over there, keep the elements out.
