Today were going to review part number DU30086. This is the Du-Ha truck storage box and gun case for under the rear seat, this specific part number would be dark brown in color, this is a custom designed storage box and gun case that will fit the 2009 to 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab or Crew Cab, it also fit the 2010 to 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 Crew Cab. This does not fit a Mega Cab and it will not fit if you have the factory navigation system. Now if you do have a factory sub-woofer that would have to be removed for this to be able to be used. This under seat truck storage bin will store many tools, guns, and more items, and it will keep a lot items from cluttering your seats and floor of your vehicle and it will help you store your valuables out of sight. This installs under the rear seats so whenever the seats are up you'll have access to the storage bin, when you set them down and close them they will act as a lid to this, this large bin will extend under both rear seats.
It is made of a heavy duty polyethylene plastic which will withstand the punishment of everyday use, and as I mentioned it is custom designed for those vehicles and the color will also match the truck's interior. For this part number it would be dark brown. Now this part does comes with two dividers that have cutouts to be used as gun racks and an installation bolt and basically these dividers will be two pieces, this one is a thick dense foam material that is very soft material it does have cutouts that would be used to store the guns in and the nice thing is is this material will not cause any damage to the guns. This part is a harder plastic material which is installed right next to the foam material to give it support and stiffen it. And basically the storage bin will have molded channel slots in there which will allow these to be slid right in and same way on this one, the two pieces and you would just slide those right in also.
So that as you can see it will divide it up into three separate compartments and give you the cutouts to where you can store two guns in here, one of them with a scope, and this storage box is actually a legal gun case in most states. And when this is installed, this will fit under the rear seats and if you have a vehicle that has the metal factory tray and lid system under the rear seats, those would have to be removed to be able to use this. So when you install that you would lift up the rear seats, if you have the tray system that would be removed and theres a large push pin that is located right behind the cup holder, you would remove that and then set this down into your storage bin and theres a predrilled hole which is located right here that will align up with that hole where the pushpin was removed and you can use this included screw to screw this into that hole and actually where you removed that pushpin where that hole is, there is a metal bracket behind it that is actually threaded that this would thread into and then that would secure this to your vehicle. Now I do want to give you some measurements on this, the overall width of the box is 57 inches, the length in the middle is 12 inches, and on the sides is 15-1/2 inches. And just give you a measurement in front here its about 7 inches, and the back here is about 10 inches, and Im going to measure these compartments just to give you an idea here.
This is about 11 inches, right here is about 29 inches and over here is about 15 inches, overall depth of the compartment is about 10 inches. Now this part is made in the USA and it does come with a limited lifetime warranty. And that should do it for part number DU30086.
