Today were going to review part #: DU20101, this is the Du-Ha truck storage box and gun case for under the rear seat, this part number is gray in color. This under the seat truck storage bin is custom designed to fit the 2011 to 2012 Ford F150 Super Crew Cab with the factory subwoofer under the rear seat. This under seat storage bin will store tools, guns and other items and it will keep items from cluttering your seats and the floor of your vehicle. You can also store your valuables in this bin and keep them out of sight. This large bin will extend under both rear seats. When its installed you lift up your rear seats you have access to the storage bin, when you close your rear seats that will give you the lid to this bin.
This part is made out of a heavy duty polyethylene plastic which will withstand the punishment of everyday use and besides being custom designed to fit your vehicle, it will also match the color of your trucks interior, this part number will be gray. This storage bin does come with two dividers, our gun racks and basically what it is it is two piece, one would be a hard plastic material which would help support the thicker softer material and these have cutouts which will allow you to lay guns in them and the softer material that the guns will sit on will protect your guns from getting any damage to them, so when you put the two together the harder piece will act as a stiffener and what you can insert those in is in the storage bin theres channel slots already in here, so these will just slide down into the channel slots. You take your second one, its your harder piece and your softer piece and as you can see as theyre installed were divided up into three separate compartments and it has these cutouts to be able to hold two guns. Now one of the guns can have a scope because this cutout on this one as you can see has an angle to it, so if you put your gun in here with the scope it will fit with no problem and it also will come with the two nylon straps to attach it to your vehicle and the way that would happen is you would lift up your rear seats, slide this under with the slots facing the rear of the vehicle and then you would insert your strap through the slot and then this part would go through the seat bracket on your vehicle, bring it back through the buckle and then you would just tighten in up until its snug down, heres the other one already installed, so you have one on each end, that will hold this to your vehicle. Now what Im going to do is give you some dimensions on it.
The overall width will be 56 inches and the length would be 14 inches and on the front would be 5 inches and back here would be 8 inches. Now what Im going to do is give you the measurements on the inside of these compartments. This one would be 13 inches, this one would be 22 inches, this one over here would be 18 inches. What you want to notice is over here the bottom is cut out and the reason that is, is because this will go in a vehicle that has a factory subwoofer under the rear seat so when you install this what you would need to do is first unbolt your factory subwoofer, unplug it, remove it, set it aside, slide this under the seats, connect it with the straps, then you can insert your subwoofer back over this storage bin, plug it back in, bolt it down and youd be ready to go.
