Today we are going to review part number DU20096. This is the Du-Ha truck storage box and gun case for under the rear seat. This one is gray in color. This is a custom design storage bin to fit the 2011 to 2012 Ford F150 super cab without the factory sub-woofer under the rear sit. Besides being custom designed for that vehicle, it is also the color to match your trucks interior. This part number would be gray.
This under seat storage bin would store tools, guns and many more items and it'll keep the items from cluttering the seats and the floor of your vehicle. You can also store your valuables out of sight in this storage bin. This large bin will extend under both rear seats. It is installed you would lift up the rear seats install this underneath. When the rear seats fall down, that would give it the lid of this storage bin.
This part is made of a heavy-duty polyethylene plastic, which will withstand the punishment of everyday use and now, it does come with two dividers also to be used as gun racks and a nylon strap for attaching to the vehicle. And basically, these dividers are two pieces one is a very hard plastic, which is used to support this thicker, dense form material which is a soft material that has cut outs to be able to set guns in there. And this material will not do any damage to the guns and basically what you'd do is just - in the storage bins there are slots to insert these dividers in. So if you just slide them down in there and then slide this one in there and as you can see it will divide it into three separate compartments and it also has the openings on the dividers that will allow you to hold two guns in here without scopes. Now this will be a legal gun case in most states.
And then, to install this on to your vehicle, what you need to do is when you raise your rear seats, they'll be a jack mounted to a bracket underneath the seat. What you have to do is remove the jack and remove the bolts that hold the brackets to the floor and keep one of those bolts separate because you want to use it to install this storage bin to your vehicle. There's a hole, a pre-drilled hole right here. And that bolt from the jack-mounting bracket will go right in there and this hole is drilled right to line up with the hole into the vehicle. So just use that bolt bed into there and on this side, you'll just take the nylon strap.
There's a cut out right here on the front. What you want to do is run that strap through that cut out, run it through the seat bucket and bring it back through the buckle. Run it through the beat bracket, bring it back through the buckle that and then as you tighten it up you'll just snug it down to hold it in place. So, it will be held by the bolt here, and the strap on this side. Now when you install this, you would have removed your jack. What you want to do is you can store your jack and the jack handle right here in the compartment somewhere. If you want to clear up more space in your storage bin, your jack could also be put on top of the spare tire that is on the rear of the vehicle, underneath the vehicle in the rear. If you lower down your spare, the jack will seat up on there and then, you can crank your spare back up and the jack will be up on top. Now this part is made in the USA, and it does come with a limited lifetime warranty and I do want to give you a few dimensions on this. The overall width will be 54 inches, and the overall length will be 10-1/2 inches and on the front will be five inches, on the back will be seven inches. And then also I'm going to give you a few dimensions on each compartment. On this one would be 13-1/2 inches. In here itd be 25 inches and the end one here would be about 11 inches.
