Today we're going to review part number DT35010KA. This is the Diversi Tech Combination Lock Set for 2 inch hitch receivers and for trailer coupler latches with the trigger latch design. It does come with the tube keys and they are keyed alike. These 2 tube-style locks will give you everything you need to secure your trailer. The hitch lock will secure your ball mount to your hitch receiver and this latch lock will secure your trigger style latch of your trailer coupler to protect your trailer when it's hooked up and even when it's not. The keyed alike option will free you from carrying lots of keys.
One key can open and close. Opens that one and same key will open that one. Each set of locks comes keyed alike to the other so that all of your locks can be opened and closed with just the one key. They are made of a chrome-plated steel construction which will ensure that your locks will look good for a long time. The easy-to-use design requires only a quarter turn of the key to lock or unlock.
So in this case if we turn it one quarter of a turn. Key to turn, one quarter of a turn will lock it into place. And then one quarter of a turn will unlock it. It does use a tube key or barrel key design which will provide better security than your standard key mechanisms because they are harder to pick and they're more difficult to duplicate keys. It does have a water-tight cap on both clocks which will keep water out of the lock cores to prevent corrosion.
And it does have a high-strength ball lock design which will prevent false locking. Again, it does include two keys for each lock. Now the hitch lock is a 5/8 inch pin diameter for 2 by 2 inch hitch receivers. I' m going to give you a measurement on this. First we'll put it back in to lock it.
Okay, the overall length on the hitch lock is 6 inches. The inside length is 2 3/4. And then we'll do this one. The coupler lock, turn it a quarter of a turn, insert it, lock it, put the seal back on. This one will have an overall length of 4 inches. The inside length will be 7/8. It does have a pin diameter in here of 1/4 of an inch. They come with a limited lifetime warranty. Now basically I just want to show you, give you an example. I have a hitch receiver here, I'm going to show you how the hitch receiver. Turn it a quarter of a turn and we can just insert it through the hitch receiver. Put it back on, turn it a quarter of a turn, put your seal on and you're all ready to go. I'm going to give you an example of the coupler. We've got a trigger latch coupler right here. We'll give you an example. Open the cap, turn it a quarter. There's a hole right here that you would just insert it through. Put your cap back on and then you have your coupler lock.
