Today, we're going to review part number CARR180012. This is a Hitch Mounted Step for 2-inch trailer hitches by Carr Accessory. This will go into a 2-inch trailer hitch and you attach your hitch pin through there to hold it in. A nice thing about this, if you pull down, it has a step which has a non-skit surface, so it helps you have this instant access to your truck bed, your roof rack, and your cargo area. It is constructed of a sturdy rustproof die-cast aluminum. This part is actually black powder coated.
The other nice thing about this is if you're not using the step, you can push it up. It has a spring located in here that puts pretty good tension on it so it does hold it up really well and it's out of the way when you're not using the step, and when it's on your vehicle, it has a nice reflective finish on the outside. And then if you need to use it, you just pull it down and you have your step. I do have a couple of measurements on this step for you. It will measure 5 inches long and 2-1/2 inches wide.
