Today we're going to review part number IMF14086, these are the S-Hook Adapters which are made to be used with the CargoBuckle Retractable Ratcheting Tie-Down Straps. I do have an example of one of those tie-down straps right here. And what these S-hook adapters will allow you to do is move one of the tie-down points. Normally, the ratcheting tie-down strap has a hole here and it would usually bolt down to the trailer frame or the truck bed and then use the S-hook strap on the other end. What these adapters will allow you to do, they will bolt in place of that mounting bolt and it will give you an S-hook on each end. And what that allows you to do, that will help you move your tie-down points wherever you want.
These S-hook adapters do have a vinyl coated steel S-hook on one end. It comes with a spring loaded keeper which will keep your hook from disconnecting. It does come with a mounting hardware. And the width of the strap on those are 2 inches wide and the length of these straps will be 9-1/2 inches. They do have a maximum load strength or breaking strength of 2500 pounds.
The actual safe working load limit would be 1/3 of that which is 833 pounds. These adapters do come as a quantity of two with the mounting hardware. They do have a one-year limited warranty. And that should do it for part number IMF14086.
