1993 Chevrolet C/K Series Pickup Base Plates for Tow Bars

Base Plate Features:

Removable drawbars, held in place with a pin and clip, make the baseplates virtually invisible when not towing the car.

Tech Tip: Vehicle must have a 3" measurement when taken from the centerpoint of the lower-most threaded hole, on the frame side, to a center-line dissecting the rear-most elongated hole on the bottom. See diagram on bracket product page.

Base Plate Features:

Fixed brackets provide a secure attachment point for your towbar.

Installation Notes:

Requires some trimming of the air dam

The vehicle must have factory tow hooks to mount the bracket

Specific dinghy towing restrictions apply. They may include specific towing speeds and distances, and/or lubricating the transmission and transfer case with the engine idling, then running selector through the gears. Other restrictions may also apply. Confirm the towability and pre-towing procedures of your vehicle with the owner's manual or contact the vehicle's manufacturer for specific towing procedures

The BX88152 adapter can not be used with this baseplate

Height deviation up to 14" higher on the towing vehicle allowed when used for utility applications only with an Allure towbar

Tech Tip: Frame hole measurement is not required for BlueOx products.

Base Plate Features:

Designed for full size pickups and SUVs. Heavy duty frames of those vehicles eliminate the need for a crossbar, making installation of the tow bar easier. Removable drawbars make the baseplates virtually invisible when you're not towing the vehicle. MX base plates only work with tow bars that slide into a 2" trailer hitch.
