These multipurpose, galvanized steel crossbars supply the backbone for your aftermarket roof-rack system. Bars provide stability to your rack system and carry the accessories that secure your gear. Round design fits all Yakima towers.

Installation Notes:

Maximum allowable weight load is 100 lbs

Any load extending over the windshield (except luggage boxes) must be secured to both the front and rear of the vehicle, in addition to the rack. The total weight of the racks and loads must not exceed Yakima's weight limit for that vehicle's factory rack

DO NOT remove factory rack end caps and install Locking RailRider plates or Landing Pad plates.  Remove factory crossbars and use existing plates

Boa bike mount will not work due to crossbar spread limitations

Insert hook between rubber molding and solid roof detail (use a plastic card, calling card type, to gently pry molding away from vehicle).
