Cargo Carrier for 2" Trailer Hitches that Allows You to Carry Bikes
Question:
From the photo it looks like the OUTER end of the shank has an opening for another hitch shank - is this the case? That is, I could add another receiver-type hitch onto the outer end - my bike carrier, for example. Pls let me know. thankd

Expert Reply:
These carriers are not designed to support another accessory. The shank is hollow but it is not sized properly to accept another type of accessory like a bike rack. The hollow shank does allow the use of an anti-rattle lock to secure the rack to the vehicle. If you would like a cargo carrier that you could use as a bike rack take a look at the 20x60" carrier. There is a bike rack adapter bar which allows you to use the rack for bikes.
