I would recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy Brake Controller, item # 90185, for your vehicle. This is a proportional brake controller that brakes the trailer in relation to the speed in which the vehicle is stopping. The Valley Odyssey II (TM) Geometric Electric Trailer Brake Controller, item # 32810, is also a very nice brake controller. I have this controller installed on my vehicle and it is easy to set for differing trailer weights and brakes smoothly with my truck. Along with the Odyssey II you will need the Valley Brake Control Hardwire Quick Disconnect Adapter, item # V30520, to hardwire the controller on your vehicle. You will also need the # ETBC6, Brake Controller 6 and 4 Way Installation Kit, which has all of the items needed to upgrade your 4-Way connector to the 6-Pole Round connector for towing with trailer brakes and accessory power. We have a video installation of a Brake Controller Kit on a 2009 Honda Odyssey for you to review. The only difference is that you already have a 4-Way connector installed and you will be installing the ETBC6 Kit not the ETBC7 Kit.
