Question:
I need an all-purpose Class III mount and ball for my 2006 Toyota Sienna, which already has a Class III hitch. Not sure what typical ball height I would want. Infrequent use, so nothing fancy. Any recommendations?

One of the most important things to keep in mind when towing a trailer is keeping the vehicle and the trailer level. You could choose a ball mount that has the proper rise or drop to keep the trailer level. 17 inches is a good rule of thumb since most trailers have a 17 inch coupler height. Measure from the ground to the top of the receiver opening. Subtract that number from 17. If it is a positive number, you need a ball mount with a rise of that number. If it is a negative number, you need a ball mount with a drop of that number. The ballmount we typically recommend for a Class 3 Receiver on a Toyota Sienna is part # 2753.
