Question:
Does this extension work with all VR wireless backup cameras. How does the cable hook up from the camera to the monitor? Will this work for towing and RV trailer?

If you look at the picture of all the pieces of equipment you get with the Wireless Back-Up Camera with New, Larger 3-1/2” Color LCD Monitor VRBCS335W or Wireless Back-Up Camera System with Color LCD Monitor 086338, you will see three different spools of wire. One of those spools has a plug on one end you would plug into a 12v receptacle, such as a cigarette lighter, and a male adapter on the other end that will plug into one of the female ports on the right side of the monitor. The bottom left spool has two wires on one end that you would run to your vehicle battery and the other end will plug into a female port of the right side of the monitor. At least one of these two spools of wire is necessary to power the monitor. The third spool is already connected to the camera, and has two options for connecting it to your vehicle. At the very end is loose wires that you use to splice into your vehicle, usually at the taillights. Along this wire is a female port where you can plug in one end of the camera extension cable WBCAC25. You can then run the extension cable along the length of the vehicles and plug the male adapter into the second female port on the right side of the monitor. The extension cable WBCAC25 provides 25' of length. The camera system is designed to be wireless, but the cable will eliminate any chance of interference from cell phones and such. It will work on the back of trailers and RVs. It will work on all VR3 back-up cameras.
