Dual Cam Sway Control System Information

Question:

Im currently considering the purchase of a Diamond Cargo 20x 8.5 V-nose trailer. I will be using to transport 4-5 motorcycles. Is there enough tongue space to accomodate this system with the dual cam sway system. How much tongue space must be exposed due to the V-nose, it looks close. Thanks

Expert Reply:

I'm sorry, but I do not have specific information on the trailer you are looking at purchasing. I do have information on our sway control systems. The New Design Dual-Cam Sway Control 26002, our newest and top of the line sway control system, requires the frame to be less that 2 1/2" wide, and the mounting brackets will install on the bottom side of the frame about 18" from the center of the hitch ball/coupler. We offer two other cam sway control systems, the Dual Cam Sway Control System for 4” or 5” frames 26000 and the Dual Cam Sway Control system for 6” frames 26001, and both will also mount about 18" from the center of the hitch ball.
