Do Trailer Brake Magnets Have Wire Polarity

wires got broken at brake drum, are they polarity sensitive or does it matter

Expert Reply:

These wires from the brake magnets have no polarity. Simply attach one to the wire carrying the brake output voltage, and ground the other wire to the trailer frame.
