Wiring Brake Assembly

Question:

i sand blasted a trailer for a frind, he cut off all the wires and lights to make it easier. now he wants me to hook every thing up.IVE ALREADY DONE THE LIGHTS.NOW THE BRAKES. THE WIRES ARE THERE,BUT DONT KNOW WHERE THEY SHOULD BE HOOKED TO.ONLY ONE AXLE HOOK UP. CAN YOU HELP ME?

Expert Reply:

Each brake assembly will have two wires coming from it. One wire grounds to the trailer frame, the other would attach to the brake output wire. It does not matter which wire goes where, as the brake magnets have no polarity.
