Question:
I have order this 118316 T-one Wiring Harness , Adapter, 7-way [old # 30717] [new # 20321] and thinking about ordering the Prodigy Proportional Controller but how do i hook it up without the ford wire running to the back. I do have a plug under the dash but dont know if its hooked up or not. I check under the bed next to the bumper and only four wires are run no blue wire. Please help to see what i need to install this brake controller.

This would be a pretty simple install. You can use the Wiring Adapter, part # 3035P to install the Tekonsha Prodigy Brake Controller. Unless you can locate the Blue brake output wire on the drivers side frame rail near the rear tire, you will have to run some 10 gauge wire from the trailer connector, part 30717 to the blue brake output wire on the brake controller. If you need the 12V accessory lead on the trailer connector, you will need to run a wire from the trailer connector to the positive battery terminal via a 40 amp. in-line Circuit Breaker, part 9510. We offer Jacketed 2 Wire 10 Gauge Brake Wire, part 10-2-1 that would be perfect. One lead could be used for the brake output, the other for the 12V accessory power supply lead.
