Locating Stoplight Wire for 2009 Subaru Forester

Question:

I cannot figure out which of 4 wires coming off the stoplight switch is the tail light. The colors are blue and white with silver dashes, green and white with silver dashes, brown and white, and solid yellow.

The best way to locate the correct wire is to use a circuit tester, such as our part # 40376. Probe each wire while pressing the brake pedal. The circuit that you want to tap into will go hot only when the brake pedal is pressed.
