Location of Brake Controller Installation Port on 1996 Ford E350 Van

Question:

Ive searched high and low for the plug under the dash to plug in my brake controller but cannot find one. Do you have any feedback? I have a 1996 Ford Van 350

Expert Reply:

The brake control connector on an E-series van is located under the left side of the dash. It will be in the very corner where the floor board, firewall and the left kick panel come together. This connector is brown and will be taped to a larger harness just above the hood release cable.
