Can you describe what you mean when you say that the trailer handles very poorly? If the trailer is swaying badly, there are a few things that can be done to correct it. Many times an incorrectly loaded trailer can contribute to a trailer sway problem. Try moving more weight in front of the axles, and see if that helps. If this does not help the situation, we offer the Dual Cam High Performance Sway Control System part # 26002 which will stop trailer sway before it can start. This system is compatible with Reese Weight Distribution Systems that have the cam on the end of the spring bar.
