Trailer Lights Dim or Not Working with 2005 Ford F-150 Lariat

Question:

I put new harness on 16 ft. flat bed trailer. The only light that works is the turn signal and its light is very dim. Brake light does not work at all. Tailer is connected to 2005 Ford F-150 Lariat. Only part that is not new is the harness from trailer to F-150.

This sounds like a ground issue. You will want to check on the trailer lights that the ground is secured to clean, bare metal. You might also want to check for corroded connections. Look for wires with worn or cracked insulation, or wires that are pinched or broken.
