Why is There not a Fifth Wheel or Gooseneck Hitch Available for My Ford F350 Cab/Chassis?

Question:

i am interested in front hitch, gooseneck hitch, and 5th wheel hitch. tech tips warn against use of these items on my truck. why?

A front mounted receiver is only available for your F-350 if your truck has a 34 inch span between frame members, measured from outside to outside. If you have the frame with the 34 inch measurement, you can use the Front Mounted Receiver Hitch, part # 65022. A vehicle specific fifth wheel hitch is not offered because of the different configurations caused by modifications after the vehicle leaves the factory. For a fifth wheel hitch, the 30K Fifth Wheel by Reese, part # 30054 would be a good option. The hitch could be welded in place using the existing structure. A gooseneck hitch is not offered for the F350 Cab/Chassis Model.
