Activator II Brake Controller Shows a Red Decimal Point with no Trailer Connected, is this Normal?

following installation I have only a red dot when applying brake pedal is it going to work when trailer is on

The single decimal point you are seeing on the Activator II display is normal. It is telling you that the unit is receiving power and that there is no trailer connected. Once the trailer is connected, you will see the power output setting once the brake pedal is pressed. For your convenience, I will send you a copy of the Activator II operating instructions in a separate email.
