Where is the Connector for Installing the T-1 Harness Located on My 2005 Subaru Outback Wagon?
Question:
Have looked everywhere where indicated in instructions for connector for hitch in my outback suburu 2005. tore up the whole trunk area, under tire, side panels, ect. cant find a connector. Where can it be?

The connector is located on either the passenger or drivers side of the vehicle, behind one of the side panels. As you have already experienced, it can be pretty hard to find. You will want to find the wiring harness that exits the rear of the tail light assembly. If there is any foam insulation material in the way, you will have to temporarily remove it. Run your fingers behind and underneath the harness, following it up toward the front of the vehicle. The connector will be underneath and behind this harness, it is difficult to see from the side.
