Running Light Circuit Splits Brown Wire at Trailer Connector

Question:

i accidentally left the trailer wire hooked up and pulled the wires out. i see the diagram above, but my question is since my trailer has two brown wires do both brown wires go on the same pole? it is a 7 way plug

You are correct, those brown wires carry the signal for your running lights, and would connect to the same pin. Some trailers are wired so that the running light circuit splits directly off of the connector with one leg running down each side of the trailer, while some are wired so that one wire runs from the connector down one side of the trailer, around the rear, and back up the other feeding each light as it goes.
