I have a 2007 GMC yukon Danalli It al ready has most if not all the wiring. I asume a proportional controller is the way to go. I will be towing a 26ft enclosed 4 place snowmobile trailer with tandom axels. Can you recomend a specfic model and location for instalation. And anything else you think I need to know.

I would agree that you should get a proportional brake controller. The Tekonsha Prodigy is the top selling brake controller. Also, in the 2007 Yukon's GM did not put a port under the dash for the brake controller. They did, however, leave the four wires for a brake controller loose. Under your dash, you will find four wires probably tied up. You will need to connect these wires to the loose wires on the brake controller.
