The Prodigy will work for your 1995 Ford F150 4x4. If you have a tow package on your truck you would just get the Prodigy, and the Tekonsha wire replacement, part number 3035-P.
If your Ford did not come with a factory installed tow package but you have added a 6 or 7 way plug then you need to be sure it is wired for electric brakes. If it is not wired you would need the wiring kit part number 5506. The kit works for 2,4,6,8 brake systems. It includes the attaching terminals, 30 amp circuit breaker and 25 ft of wire.
If you just have a 4 way plug then you would need part ETBC6 or ETBC7 depending on your trailer.
However if your vehicle does not already have a flat 4-Pole trailer connector installed, the Hitch Hunter T-One Fit guide can be used to find the easy to install connector made specific for your vehicle.
